Was inspired by a diaper cake we ordered from some random online person for a client when she popped.

There Are Five Stars Arising... Out of the Stormy Sea
We all got in theme on K's first national day.
My... what a huge red balloon that we got from Singapore Swimming Club... thank goodness K's weight managed to keep her grounded.
Hung out at K's cousin Darryl's place to catch the National Day parade on TV.
Ah Ha! Caught the Naughty Face on camera. Wonder whose genes.

Got the kiddos 2 flags to play with. This is the before photo.

Big Girl at My Gym
Have been trying to get Lil' K to stand rather unsuccessfully (she'd always buckle her legs so that she'd be carried) so when she finally managed to stand on her own in Gym, you can imagine how pleased both K and I were =)
Thanks J for the photos =)
Here are some photos of K on her favourite portion of gym--the swing! She likes me to swing her high and fast. A daredevil in the making?
Oooooo... the ball pit. MY favourite!
Check out the chick deep in concentration as she hangs...
Thanks J for the photos =)

Bali Babies
Admist the mayhem, we managed to make it to Bali for G's team trip. Am glad that we made it, cos the villa that we stayed at, The Ulin Villas located at Semiyak, was absolutely gorgeous. And the three of us needed to spend some quality time together at long last.
Through a kind twist of fate, we were allocated a one bedroom villa. Here are some photos (which obviously don't do the place any justice).
Lil' K thoroughly enjoyed herself during the entire trip. Her excitement started out when she realised that we were on the plane. She could hardly contain her happiness and flapped her arms. Maybe that was her way of telling us "aeroplane"?
As part of team building, G went for a paintball session on Friday morning. While they were having loads of fun blasting paint at each other, Lil' K and Sarah had an hour long swim in the pool at our villa. Here's a photo of the Bali Babies:
K was completely knocked out after the swim that she fell asleep on the changing mat when I was changing her after a quick shower.
We had seafood dinner at Jimbaran Bay just after catching one of the most beautiful sunsets I've ever seen. This was the site of the October 2005 bombings. Not sure which restaurant was the unfortunate one... though some of them suspect the one we were at was the fateful one...
Enjoying the breeze at the beach at Legian:
You can see K's top two teeth peeking out here...
We had team dinner at Kudeta. Dinner was better than expected... was told by several people that the ambience was nice but the food was nothing to rave about. Well... perhaps what we ordered was just really yummy!
Had dinner at Ultimo, an Italian restaurant just 20m outside our villa. K loves to take photos. See below. I rest my case.
