Four Months Old

Lil K went for her 4 month vaccination. Our little princess has grown a might lot since she was born!

Height: 65 cm (75th percentile)
Weight: 6.8kg (75th percentile)
Head Circumference: 40.5cm

Our gem is growing up fast. Too fast. She has started teething. The bottom right is starting to sprout. That explains the recent grouchiness (which was strange cos she was always all-smiles and giggles) and unpredictable feeding patterns. Hope she doesn't learn how to bite or I'd smack her without any hesitation!

Andrew came over to take some photos of her, but she wasn't quite in the mood. Oh well. Some other time then.

Her 4th month cake is from Obolo (again). Double yums.

Baptism

Little Kaelyn was baptised on 20th January 2008. She was the 8th baby to be baptised out of a grand total of 18 babes (yet again, the 18-8 combination... like her birthdate). Her are some of the photos:

Little K wore my baptism gown and the little bo-peep bonnet... I must say the dress looks pretty darn good for something 30 years old!

We had dinner at Sabai, a yummy Thai restaurant at Takashimayato celebrate K's baptism:

Back to Work

It was with great dread that I headed back to work on 7 Jan 2008. Ever since we moved home, we have to shuttle poor Lil' K every morning before we head off to work and pick her back in the evenings. Often, she's already in slumberland. I try not to rouse her so I hug her real tight during the ride but sometimes she just wakes. Poor Lil' K...

It is heart wrenching to drop Lil' K off every morning. How I wish I could be a SAHM and spend more time with her rather than seeing her when she's asleep. Alas, bills still need to be paid and my wish will never be fulfilled.

Since Lil' K is still exclusively breastfed, I have to do gross things in the office... twice a day. Three times would have been ideal, but that would mean spending excessive amounts of time stuck in the meeting room. We bought a fridge to store the stuff in and we brought in a steriliser (which my roomie calls the la ji tong cos it does look like a dustbin!). I now have the works set up in the office. Hopefully that would be enough incentive to try to carry on breastfeeding as long as possible.

Moo.

Once and for all... the answer is...
