It has been a very eventful month for us all. Lil' K has brought us our fair share of smiles, amusement, anxiety and worry (from her jaundice, which we KNEW was under control, much to the disagreement of kan-cheong well-meaning grandparents).
Lil' K is finally one month old. I can't believe that one month has passed. It feels like it was just last week that Lil' K was (finally) born and we held her in our arms.
Maybe its the fun and joy that she has brought to our lives that makes time seem to pass faster than it really does. Maybe its the 3 hour (or sometimes less) feeding cycles that occupy my life and how I have to work around it. Maybe its a combination of physical exhaustion and mental ecstasy.
Here are some photos that we took when we (very informally) celebrated her one month existence in this world.
Lil' Kaelyn is wearing my old crocheted dress. See how pretty in pink she looks!
*frown on face is cos she wanted to sleep and we insisted on changing her into pink crocheted dress to continuously take photos!*
We had a Lychee Martini cake from PG Cake and sang "Happy One Month to Kaelyn".
